Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy

Pelvic Health (Floor) Physiotherapy is a specialized physiotherapy service established to treat and remediate incontinence (urine leakage) and pelvic pain through individualized rehabilitation programs. Incontinence is NOT a normal part of aging, nor is it to be expected during or after pregnancy.

Those who could benefit from pelvic health physiotherapy include anyone experiencing: urinary urgency or leakage, pain with urination, frequent urinary tract infections (UTI’s) or yeast infections, constipation, straining or painful bowel movements, unexplained pain in your low back / hips / pelvis / genital or rectal areas, tailbone pain that is worse with sitting, pain inserting a tampon, pain during or after intercourse, inability to get or maintain an erection, rectus diastasis (separation of abdominals during or after pregnancy), painful menstrual periods, or pelvic organ prolapse.
