Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy
Pelvic Health (Floor) Physiotherapy is a specialized physiotherapy service established to treat and remediate incontinence (urine leakage) and pelvic pain through individualized rehabilitation programs. Incontinence is NOT a normal part of aging, nor is it to be expected during or after pregnancy.
Those who could benefit from pelvic health physiotherapy include anyone experiencing: urinary urgency or leakage, pain with urination, frequent urinary tract infections (UTI’s) or yeast infections, constipation, straining or painful bowel movements, unexplained pain in your low back / hips / pelvis / genital or rectal areas, tailbone pain that is worse with sitting, pain inserting a tampon, pain during or after intercourse, inability to get or maintain an erection, rectus diastasis (separation of abdominals during or after pregnancy), painful menstrual periods, or pelvic organ prolapse.

Rebecca also offers a specialized and unique service for pregnant women in their second to third trimester. This service involves a one on one consultation where you will gain up to date best practice guidelines and recommendations for a better birthing experience. Rebecca will review crucial education with you including recommended birth positions, pain management strategies, social support options, self-advocacy, and much more.
